Beautiful bouquet with some brioche and apples. On the palate tart apple acidity, yeast and nuts; very tasty. Good minerality. Crispy and round.

Dark yellow. Dried honey in the bouquet. Quite mature on the palate although there is still good and fresh acidity. Some bitterness in the finish. Drink now or soon.

Minerals in the bouquet. On the palate also good minerality, tropical flavors, a firm amount of good oak and not so much acidity. This is a very luxurious wine which I did not score higher because of the lack of acidity.

The bouquet is a bit locked, but really beautiful. Good acidity, yellow fruit flavors and a lot of beautiful oak. Very concentrated and tasty.

Intriguing bouquet with fresh pineapple and other yellow fruits as well as luxurious oak. On the palate there is some development with nutty flavors and caramel and also good acidity and minerals and even a bit yeasty impressions. Beautiful and complex wine.

Beautiful bouquet with smoky impressions and black fruits. On the palate black berry fruits as well as some red fruits. Beautiful acidity and bitterness. A beautiful and elegant wine. Mature now, but no real hurry.

Beautiful bouquet with some chocolate and acidity. On the palate soft and beautiful cherries, some slightly earthy impressions and beautiful tannin and bitterness. Ready now and a future of several years.

Carmine red with a slightly brown rim. Earthy impressions and black fruits. Soft and round tannin and also firm acidity. Very ok wine, but it lacks some refinement.

Some sweet impressions in the bouquet. On the palate as well. Ripe cherries and soft tannin. I did not make more notes and although this is something special, this bottle was not really my style of wine. No score.

Beautiful and elegant bouquet. On the palate red fruits and a lot of fresh acidity. A touch of sweetness as well. Beautiful and elegant wine and completely ready now. (This bottle was stored a bit too warm for many years, so if you own a bottle stored at the right temp. it is probably wise to wait a few more years.)

Beautiful bouquet with spices like white pepper. Firm amount of acidity and tannin. No more specific notes. This wine is in early maturity stage now.

This wine has 60% Grenache and I did not do research about the rest of the grapes used. The wine showed a beautiful deep color. In the bouquet some smoke. Overall a beautiful and harmonious wine with some spiciness, good acidity and soft tannin. Not a bit too old at this moment, but completely ready now.

Not so many notes and I did not score the wine. Deep and concentrated color. On the palate black as well as red berry fruits, elegant acidity and a bit green tannin.

Enormously concentrated and orange peel in the bouquet. On the palate a lot of sweetness and the acidity hardly shows. Impressive wine although I would have preferred a little more acidity to balance it all.

In this port wine the first thing you notice is the alcohol, followed by sherry flavors, nuts and currants. Not as special and delicate as we hoped for.
