N.V. Champagne Suenen Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé
Nose was rather muted and simple palate. Pretty simple and ordinary. Rather disappointing for a Suenen given the expectation.

1999 Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots
Dark fruits, mushroom, mint and slight herbs. Palate lacks structure at first but gains weight after 2 hours with meaty note. Fine and balanced with good finish.

Sweet red fruits fine tannins. Blueberry chassis.

2012 Dujac Fils et Père Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes
Green pepper spice, rustic oak finish. Minor sweetness but placate lacks structure.

Big robust, blueberry, sweet but well balanced.
