Flight 1 (7 notes)

White - Off-dry
2015 Gunderloch Jean Baptiste Riesling feinherb Germany, Rheinhessen

Very fresh, residual CO2 left. Great for a hot day on the terrace. My wife loved it.
White
2013 Weingut Dreissigacker Riesling Wunderwerk Germany, Rheinhessen
88 points
Great wine, very clean and subtle yet refined. Grapefruit, honey, apricot, peach, very fresh.
White
2015 Weingut Battenfeld-Spanier Höhen-Sülzener Prime Riesling Trocken Germany, Rheinhessen
88 points
Bottled just recently. It was very fresh and youthful but you could see where this is going to be in a couple of months. Great basic level (VDP.Gutswein) riesling! Wild herbs, floral in the nose, good minerality.
White
2014 Weingut Battenfeld-Spanier Höhen-Sülzen Weissburgunder Germany, Rheinhessen
89 points
Very nice! Amazing how much aroma you could get from a pinot blanc. Full of fruit, smooth and creamy with hints of anise and chocolate.
Red
2012 Gérard Bertrand Cabernet Sauvignon Réserve Spéciale France, Languedoc Roussillon, Vin de Pays d'Oc
80 points
Deep purple in color but mediocre in taste, hollow fruit no length.
Red
2012 Kühling-Gillot Spätburgunder Trocken Germany, Rheinhessen
85 points
Tasted from magnum. Solid but not exceptional.
White - Off-dry
2014 Gunderloch Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling Spätlese Germany, Rheinhessen
88 points
Classic sweet spätlese, very nice. Good length and perfect acidity.
