A near perfect wine. Well structured, even at nearly 60 years old. Barnyard funk on the nose and palate. Hints of leather and chocolate too. Phenomenal wine. Held up well in the glass over time. Many years left in the bottle.

When we first PnP'd, I got overwhelming alcohol on the nose. Then it burned off and the wine aromatics came through. Super balanced on the palate. Classic, dry, great BDX. Lots of life left in this one. Could have used a short decant.
