Flight 1 - Trocken Flight 1: RINGS (2 notes)
My first time trying the wines of Rings, which have received a lot of press. The hype is real, these were great and fairly priced.

slight preference to this over the graacher, but both were phenomenal. apricot, loads of slate, white flowers, and lime. perfectly balanced. med(+) finish.

sulfur, ripe peach, citrus. fuller than the prum from the same site. could use a touch more acid to kick it into the next gear, but this is delicious as is. suffered in a side-by-side with the prum.

delicious red apple, tropical, slate, lemon. this is impeccably balanced and shows both bosy and freshness packed in. long finish. absolutely delicious now, but showing signs of so much more to come.

very ripe profile of peach, honey. drinks like an auslese, but lacking a little complexity -- very fruit forward. long finish. this will improve as it gains complexity.

really nice. lime, apricot, green apple, mineral, a hint of spice. medium finish. ridiculous balance. this drinks with the freshness of a Kabinett, despite having so much packed in there.
