1999 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
95 points
Small glass, brief note. Apples everywhere with a peach shooter. Rich and intense, ultra concentrated, but in balance. Slightly better than the bottle from last night.
White
2002 Marc Colin et Fils Chevalier-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
flawed
Corked.
Red
2012 Alain Hudelot-Noëllat Chambolle-Musigny France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny
89 points
Small glass, brief note. Bright red cherry, easy and fun right now. Probably better yet in another year or three, through 2025. A great value wine with lots of nuance for its level.

Red
1992 Domaine Armand Rousseau Père et Fils Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin Grand Cru
90 points
Small glass, brief note. Fully mature black and red fruit with meaty notes. Moderate depth and concentration gives a slightly tiring finish. Very enjoyable, but best to drink up.
Red
1990 La Pousse d'Or Pommard 1er Cru Les Jarollières France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Pommard 1er Cru
91 points
Small glass, brief note. Ripe black cherry aromas, nicely fresh with hints of maturation. Nicely balanced with an expanding finish. Seems as much Volnay as Pommard, but that's the terroir. No hurry to drink up.
Red
2007 Domaine Dujac Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin Grand Cru
94 points
Small glass, brief note. Black and red fruit with a perfumed core. Weightless with VG concentration, giving a perfectly harmonious character. Very good length. Incredibly elegant for young Chambertin.
Red
2005 Claude Dugat Charmes-Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru
Small glass, brief note. Massive black plum and cherry with roast meat, espresso and dried herbs. Equally massive tannins stand shoulder-to-shoulder. Very good already now (92 points) but with excellent (94-95 point) potential. I will hold my bottles until after 2025.
Red
1991 Bernard Dugat-Py Charmes-Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru
92 points
Small glass, brief note. Black fruit with faint background spice. If blind, I would have thought younger. Very concentrated, to a degree that I think detracts from the finesse of the vintage. I still certainly enjoyed this wine, but others enjoyed it more this afternoon.
Rosé - Sparkling
2004 Dom Pérignon Champagne Rosé France, Champagne
95 points
Small glass, brief note. Red berry with ripe apple. Great length and mouth feel. Gorgeous now with a long life going forward.
Red
1993 Joseph Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
89 points
Small glass, brief note. Earth, spice with mature red fruit aromas. Similar flavors with good mineral finish. Time to drink up.

1993 Joseph Drouhin Romanée St. Vivant France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Romanée St. Vivant Grand Cru
92 points
Still showing lots of bright red fruit with moderate concentration, moderate weight, exceptional balance. Subtle and very elegant. Will easily last another decade.
White
2009 Domaine Jean Chartron Bâtard-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
88 points
Small glass, brief note. I like the nose a lot- peach, ripe apple, floral and spice in good proportion. Similar flavors elements, but less balance, all too ripe, slightly missing acidity. Best for the near-term.

1989 Domaine Ramonet Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
95 points
It has been many years since I have had this wine, so I was very excited given my overall adoration of everything Ramonet 1989. Open several hours before I tasted. Both fresh and baked apple aromas with spice, mint and great richness that can only come from a ripe vintage. But the balance enables this to come across as rich without seeming extremely ripe. Identical flavors. Super length. Excellent wine, thanks for sharing, Jeremy.

2005 Domaine G. Roumier / Christophe Roumier Bonnes Mares France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
97 points
Had the opportunity to taste this twice today (same bottle). Maybe three times, including once served to me blind. Dark and brooding to start with massive concentration. Slowly...steadily...more and more emerged. First there was great black fruit, followed by elegant red cherry and berry, followed by even more complicated black fruit. Savory spice emerged quickly, then also picked up more charm and nuance. Massive, powerful and enjoyable after an hour in glass. Glorious an hour later, tasting like a 95 point wine today, with enormous upside 2025 forward (97 points?).

2006 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
91 points
Small glass, brief note. Open 2+ hours before tasting. Red cherry throughout with subtle spice, very good textures. Ripe fruit with very good balance. I would cellar a little longer.
Red
2014 Domaine Francois Lamarche La Grande Rue France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, La Grande Rue Grand Cru
94 points
Small glass, brief note. Bright red fruit with Asian five spice in background. No shortage of tannins, but they are elegant and already well balanced. Easy to enjoy a glass now, but is likely to be something very special in a decade+.
White
1995 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Montrachet Grand Cru
94 points
Small glass, brief note. Served slightly too warm (~60F). Late summer flowers with mature stone fruit with faint tropical hints. Rich and very concentrated in a manner that gave it unctuous textures. Fully mature, but I'd consider that age appropriate for the 1995 vintage at this point. Superb length.

1990 Château Latour Grand Vin France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac
95 points
Small glass, brief note. Decanted well before I got to taste. Black currant, black plum, dark chocolate filled with liqueur. Rich and powerful. Wonderful now with lots of clear upside as it softens and mellows.

1978 Marquis de Laguiche (Joseph Drouhin) Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Montrachet Grand Cru
Small glass, brief note. A rare treat. Baked apple aromas with some butterscotch. Similar flavors, lots of intriguing hints, but short finish. Still very good.

1985 Coche-Dury Meursault Les Rougeots France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault
94 points
Small glass, brief note. Lots of fruit is still here with some mushroom and earth. Fully mature and very ripe but with structure and concentration to keep this a great wine. Some others were less enamored, but I adored this wine.
