White
2014 Easton Sauvignon Blanc USA, California, Sierra Foothills
Tropical fruit throughout the nose and palate- pineapple and gooseberry, hints of white pepper and slate. Medium acidity, round texture, well-balanced and pleasing.
Red
2009 Easton Barbera Cooper Ranch USA, California, Sierra Foothills, California Shenandoah Valley
Aromas of cherry, anise, dill and allspice berry. Bright and rich cherry fruit on the palate with accompanying spice. Medium-plus acid, lithe tannin, and a clean dry finish.
Red
2010 Easton Zinfandel California Shenandoah Valley USA, California, Sierra Foothills, California Shenandoah Valley
Aromas of blueberry, spicecake and leather. Well-balanced and stately on the palate, showing cedar, dark fruits, spices and tobacco. Medium acidity, smooth broad tannins, and good depth on the finish. Very nice.
Red
2012 Domaine de la Terre Rouge Mourvèdre USA, California, Sierra Foothills
Brambly dark earth on the nose- minerals, black cherry, plum and spices. Earth, mineral and spice notes continue to the palate, with more of a red fruit profile in the flavors- cherry and fig. Richly balanced texture, with medium acidity, smooth broad tannins, and good depth on the finish. Excellent.
