Gold color with amber reflections. Amazing nose with a combination of sweetness, yeastiness and earth. On the palate full, round and supple with dried flowers and candied citrus fruit. Very rich and ready now.

Flight 3 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
1982 Veuve Clicquot Champagne Vintage Cave Privée France, Champagne
96 points
In contrast to the 1989, this wine had stronger acidity, with mature vanilla spice, a little bread and enormous complexity but still crisp and refreshing with few and small bubbles. This rare and stunning wine is far from its peak.

Rosé - Sparkling
1990 Veuve Clicquot Champagne Vintage Rosé Cave Privée France, Champagne

Beautiful salmon color with copper tints. Precise red pinot fruit and bread flavors combined with chalk and crisp acidity with smooth, soft discrete bubbles. This wine is still reserved and will show more complexity with time.
