Introduction

Great event, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the foundation.
There were seminars on Sangiovese and Albana. This was to illustrate different ways to decline the Albana Grape: dry, passito and with Botrytis.
Our host was Journalist Francesco Falcone. Albana was compared to Chenin blanc.

Flight 1 - Dry Albana (3 notes)

Ceparano is 100% Albana. Tergeno (and the old version, As) are a Chardonnay - Albana blend, with Albana now almost entirely replacing the Chardonnay.

Very impressive to testify how Albana can be a (no more) surprising wine in different styles.
