Opened another bottle as starter in a tasting. Primary red fruits, some dark fruits and herbs and spices. Firm acidity and candy fruit flavors. Certainly fresh and ok.

Red fruits like raspberries, herbs and spices and some dark berries in the bouquet. On the palate red berries, garrigue, autumn forest and mushrooms, fresh acidity and pleasant bitterness

Concentrated bouquet with mushrooms, cherries and garrigue. On the palate juicy acidity, licorice, autumn forest and herbs and spices. However the wine was much more developed than it should be. No score for tonight.

Beautiful and expressive bouquet with garrigue, dark berries and some earth. On the palate some development, chocolate, smoke, sweet dark and red berries as well as firm and beautiful acidity. Already beautiful and some future ahead as well.

Concentrated bouquet with garrigue and rustic impressions. On the palate fresh green herbs, garrigue and forest. Some butter, and medicine in a positive sense. Beautiful and complex, fresh wine with still a great future. 93+ for tonight.

Beautiful bouquet with autumn impressions, meat, mushrooms and game. Same on the palate, garrigue, chocolate, leather, forest floor, beautiful acidity and soft, slightly drying tannin. Just a beautiful and mature wine which still has a lot of life in it.

Deep bouquet with dark berries, rustic impressions, licorice and also still primary fruits. On the palate dark berries, licorice, garrigue, beautiful acidity and some pleasant sweetness. Delicious wine with still some bite and good bitterness.

This bottle was brought by John and we had to blind taste it. And what a revelation it was! The bouquet was really beautiful with garrigue, autumn and rustic impressions. On the palate herbs and spices, truffle, red and dark berries and juicy acidity. Soft tannin. Mature, but not tired yet. It performed beautifully in the C9duP line-up of tonight. (And the “sad” note; I bought 5 bottles for € 6 back in 2006 and finished the last one in 2013. I should have bought at least 60 for this price!)

Beautiful, complex and concentrated bouquet with earth, mushrooms, truffle, garrigue and coffee. On the palate the same impressions. Good concentration. Good acidity and round and soft tannin with still a pleasant bite. Overall a beautiful and complex wine and a great pity this was my last bottle.

Beautiful bouquet if you like the bretty stable smells. Autumn impressions as well. On the palate chocolate, barnyard, herbs and a very good length. Still a very good and delicious, mature wine. (Not a wine everybody will like.)
