Savoury earth, lemon, musk, orange peel and brioche. Some sweet fruit with a good lounge of acidity balancing it well. Fresh but had depth as well. Really easy to drink while still having complexity and depth. Really excellent.

Gingerbread, honey and florals, though it lost its lift with time in the glass. Fairly round and lacking power through the mid palate. Feels too old.

Smoke, lime, florals, straw and some spicy oak. Nice sweet fruit on the palate, with good texture to maintain some interest. Good length.

Lime, spice and pretty yellow florals. Lean profile on the palate, with some depth to the fruit as well. Stretches out in the glass. Very good length, this is highly enjoyable.

Oak, melon, slate, light herb and violets. Good richness on the palate counters the oak well, with some nice mineral drive. Very solid.

Flinty, slate, melon, lemon and toast - plenty going on and showing a lot more with a little air. Sweet but full, with good richness and length. Really composed palate, the balance is excellent. A highlight of the night.

Grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit and other tropical elements. Good acid cuts through on the palate but the tropical elements are a little one dimensional compared to the others in this flight.

Green apple, pear, vanilla, lemon pie and some light mint. Well balanced on the palate, this is youthful but has plenty of time left to develop. Should get to a good level with time.

Slate, honey, spices and a light earthy note. Very good acidity and texture, while still showing off a bright fruit profile. Flows well, with excellent balance.

Orange and mandarin, a little honey and talc. Quite fat fruit profile, with perhaps a little more tension and depth being needed.

Pear, apple, chalk and mineral notes. Clean fruit through the palate, this is simple at the moment but has the right setup to take it further.

Smoky sulfur, sea spray and oyster shell. Good mix of richness and mineral leanness. Lacks a little overall excitement but it is well put together on the whole.

Premoxed

Cherry, spice, some stalk and red berries. Light weighted fruit, on the delicate and subtle side of things. Good, although some more depth to the fruit would lift it a notch or two.

Licorice, celery, raspberry, orange and some meaty notes. Palate had that same meaty element, with good structure supporting.

Odd nose - cranberry, really toasty and sappy. Tannins are firm and awkward with short length. Can't see this getting better.

Rhubarb, blackcurrant, cola and stalks. Medium weight fruit on the palate, some brightness to it but very little depth. The stalk gives it some interest but it doesn't feel like there is to much else there.

Perfumed with violets and roses with cherry and spicy oak. Nice texture on the palate with good fruit freshness and flavour. Good length and composure.

Toasty, violets, spice and orange peel. Good fruit weight on the palate with focused acidity guiding the wine well. Good length also.

Pencil shavings, stalk, florals and charred notes. Nice and grippy tannins on the palate with nice acidity as well. Good flavour and flow.

Blood and iodine, menthol, redcurrant, roses and earthy notes. Silky texture, good flow and balence. Good length. Drink now.

Cherry, stalks and oak with a light soapy note quite sweet and floral on the palate, this is medium length. Was surprised that it is this ripe in style when revealed.

Ash, blackcurrant, rhubarb and stems. High in acidity with the stem showing through. Mid length. Not bad.

Earthy with spice, cherry and smoke - perhaps some light brett. Sweet fruit on the palate pokes through the savoury facade of the nose. Still has decent focus about it.

Peppery spice, stalks and roses. Spicy palate as well with plenty of stem flavour. Feels a little full bodied to be classic Pinot but nice enough in its own right.
