I made flights, fully blind for the participants. They had to find out/tell what the resemblance was and what the difference in every flight. Just for the fun.

Flight 1 (1 note)

White - Sparkling
N.V. Bernard Brémont Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée Prestige Brut France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
90 points
White fruits, minerals and focused. Good citrus, ripe apples, lime, yeasty and a bit pleasantly stinky.

Flight 2 (2 notes)

See my note of last month. Scored it a point less tonight.
2007 Van Volxem Wawerner Goldberg Riesling Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
90 points
Full bodied, some pleasant petrol in the bouquet as well as on the palate and also good freshness. On the palate also tropical fruits like mango and pineapple. Full bodied wine with a good length. Ready now and the next few years.

Flight 3 (3 notes)

2014 Janotsbos Pouilly-Fuissé France, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Pouilly-Fuissé
89 points
Light and elegant bouquet with white fruits, soft yellow tropical fruits and some minerals. On the palate and elegant wine with pleasant citrus, pineapple and some herbs and spices. More locked than in April last year. 88 – 89 for today.
2014 Domaine André Bonhomme Viré-Clessé Hommage a Gisèle Bonhomme France, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Viré-Clessé
90 points
Expressive bouquet with concentrated tropical fruits. On the palate good complexity, some vanilla, beautiful oak. Some melon. Overall a tasty and clean wine with a good length. 90+
2013 World's End Chardonnay Rebel Rebel Reserve USA, California, Napa Valley
90 points
Complex bouquet with vanilla, smoke, ripe apples and melon. On the palate a full bodied wine with soft tropical fruits with good acidity and soft tannin. Very tasty and well dosed oak.

Flight 4 (3 notes)

2005 Château de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Coudoulet de Beaucastel France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
89 points
I think this bottle showed more youthful than the previous one, but of course it is not really young anymore. Beautiful bouquet with still power and also autumn forest impressions and garrigue. On the palate the same. Red berries, some licorice and laurel, mild acidity and round tannin. Lovely wine. I have one bottle left for 2019 or 2020 ;-)
2015 Château de Beaucastel Côtes du Rhône Coudoulet de Beaucastel France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
89 points
Poured in a wine tasting beside the 2005. Expressive bouquet with garrigue and ripe red and dark berries. On the palate the same impressions. Some yoghurt and caramel as well. Beautiful in this youthful stage and it will probably change for the better with some ageing. Between 2022 and 2025+?

Flight 5 (3 notes)

2015 Roc de Lussac France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Lussac-St. Émilion
84 points
At first the bouquet shows cherries, red berries and is a bit dusty. On the palate primary cherries and berries, pleasant acidity and hardly any tannin. Very basic, but the nice part is that the wine hardly changed over 4 days. It was easy drinking and pleasant until day 4. So I can easily score it 84 for the pleasure, but unfortunately because of the lack of complexity not higher.
2004 Château Quinault L'Enclos France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
91 points
Beautiful and complex bouquet with red and dark berries, vanilla, autumn forest and pleasant oak. On the palate good dark berries, cassis, lead pencil shavings and also a touch of bell pepper. Good acidity and round tannin. The wine is ready now and there is no real hurry.

2000 Château Prieuré-Lichine France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux
92 points
Beautiful bouquet with still dark berries and beautifully dosed oak. On the palate a complex, beautifully developed, classical wine with good acidity and tannin which still offers a pleasant bite.

Flight 6 (1 note)

White - Sweet/Dessert
2001 Château Lamothe Guignard France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes
86 points
In the bouquet honey and orange peel. On the palate apricots, ripe pineapple, orange and tangerine. Honey again. Overall a bit disappointing.
