Introduction

This course was a good opportunity to verify how I’m ranking the various components of wine (e.g. the levels of acidity and tannins), and experience tasting in a large group environment. It is great to be able to talk through some of the oddities that may come up.

Closing

I was looking forward to trying a diverse range of wines and I was not disappointed. The wine of the day is a tough call, it is definitely out of the 2013 Royal Tokaji and the 2015 Helm Cabernet Sauvignon. I’m looking forward to the next session in a weeks time!
