Out of magnum. Amazing nose that is so lifted and concentrated -- layers of orchard fruit, florals, spice, nuts and lemon zest. Terrific concentration and totally open knit and generous right now. Gets better and better over the course of a long lunch. Amazing depth.

A wow nose with great spice integrated into mature black fruit with an earthy sous bois. Smells amazing. The palate is tasty, if a little on the back nine, as it lacks some energy. Great depth in the finish.

A bit shy in the nose but opens to reveal mature black cherry with some meaty spice. The palate has meaty black cherry. There is still plenty of power and oomph here, but lacks some focus and refinement.

Full, generous aromas of red cherry and strawberry. That palate has a high delicious factor with round young luscious cherry berries and spice. Good balancing structure. Quite young still.

This is still fairly brooding and backward. Unevolved nose is all big black cherry. The palate is showing so young and firm. Loads of rich black cherry with some spice. Not showing a ton of nuance yet.

I really, really liked this wine. Pretty high on the delicious factor, so that is likely influencing my score a bit. A stunning, towering nose of black cherry, rhubarb pie and spice. A concentrated and polished palate. This is insanely deep and luscious with delicious black cherry and loads of spice.
