Introduction

These were wines which I wanted to taste for quite some time, and I finally was able to do that during some time off in the States/Caribbean.

Flight 1 - Riesling in Orlando (3 notes)

Great flight. All bottles were excellent - no weak links on this tasting.

White
2015 Georg Breuer Rauenthaler Nonnenberg Riesling Germany, Rheingau
95 points
95(+?)pts. Tasting notes at br_winelover on IG.
White
2015 Weingut Clemens Busch Marienburg Raffes Riesling Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
95 points
94-95(+?)pts. Tasting notes will soon be added.
White
2015 Markus Molitor Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Auslese *** (White Capsule) Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
95 points
94-95(+?)pts. Tasting notes at br_winelover on IG.

Flight 2 - Riesling aboard the Oasis of the Seas (2 notes)

These are definitely good wines, but not at the same level of those three in the flight above. I don't think these are really worthy to search for.

White
2016 Schloss Lieser Niederberg Helden Riesling Großes Gewächs Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
93 points
92-93(+?)pts. Tasting notes will soon be posted.
White
2016 Weingut Ökonomierat Rebholz Birkweiler Kastanienbusch Riesling Großes Gewächs Germany, Pfalz
94 points
93-94pts. Tasting notes at br_winelover on IG.

Flight 3 - Bubbly on the Oasis of the Seas (2 notes)

The Champagne was really nice, but the Prosecco was a bit meh.

White - Sparkling
N.V. Foss Marai Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Strada di Guia, 109 Extra Dry Italy, Veneto, Prosecco di Valdobbiadene
88 points
88pts. Good stuff, but not cheap for what it delivers. Very little complexity here.
White - Sparkling
N.V. Pertois-Moriset Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
91 points
90-91pts. Good champagne for the price. Toast, some graphite, stone fruit, stays long on the palate. Recommended!

Flight 4 - Great dinner at the Oasis of the Seas (1 note)

Too young unfortunately.

Red
2013 Saxum Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles Willow Creek District
95 points
95(+?)pts. Too young. It might improve quite a bit in the future - right now it is still a bit tannic and drying. But it is very intense and already displays excellent complexity. To be revisited in five years.

Flight 5 - Two whites on the last day of the cruise (2 notes)

Molitor was good again, while the Rochioli was not liked by all in our group.

White
2013 J. Rochioli Chardonnay Rachael's Vineyard USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley
93 points
93(+?)pts. Tasting notes at br_winelover on IG.
White
2016 Markus Molitor Graacher Domprobst Riesling Spätlese (White Capsule) Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
94 points
93-94(+?)pts. Tasting notes at br_winelover on IG.

Closing

The first flight was definitely the best one. Both Markus Molitor wines showed well, while the Prosecco was a disappointment.
