White
2014 Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Bâtard-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru
93 points
Popped-and-poured, this really took almost two hours to show its best. Started off ripe, fleshy and incredibly concentrated with too much baby fat, but also too much acidity. This was enjoyable at first, albeit strict. By the end, it was still so concentrated with wonderful balance. Better to cellar another few years, best 2022-2034+.
Red
2014 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Chaignots France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
91 points
Popped-and-poured, then consumed over two hours. Plenty of both red and black cherry with very savory spice. Good+ weight and length with very engaging textures. Faintly drying finish for right now, but I expect that will soften.

2011 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Reignots France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru
92 points
Popped-and-poured, then enjoyed over almost two hours. Dark and intense black cherry and plum with both sweet and savory spice. Big and bold with amazing concentration, but a bit hard on finish. Good length, but I expect/ hope this will get longer and softer as it cellars and picks up weight.
