Small glass, brief note. Stone fruit and ripe lemon with a hint of honeycomb. Good weight and length with a bright, but simple, finish. I enjoyed this wine, but did not find it lived up to its price tag.

But I also thought Morey-St Denis instead of Gevrey. Producer over terroir? Somewhat shut in the middle with a powerful finish hinting at nuance. Small glass, brief note. Enchanting old style Cali Cab with aromas showing mint, eucalyptus, ripe and maturing black plum and cassis. Similar flavors are almost as good, perhaps slightly less concentrated vs nose. Very good now.
