13.5% - Clear, med to light lemon with a gold hue / clean, med to pronounced intensity - piquant lemon, nutty, cheese rind, mineral / dry, high racy acidity, med body with a creamy texture, med + intensity, long finish. Quite expressive and superb tension carrying through. 91 (+)

13.5% - Clear, deep garnet / clean, pronounced intensity - blackcurrant, dark berry, smoky, toast, mushroom funk, peony, celery salt / dry, med+ intensity, med+ gummy and slightly grippy tannin, med body, med+ intensity, med+ length. Some menthol, eucalyptus emerged after some air.

13.5% - Clear, med+ ruby / clean, med to pronounced intensity - blackberry, white pepper, rhubarb stems, blond tobacco / dry, med+ acidity, med silky tannin, med body, pronounced intensity, persistent finish.

13.5% - Clear, deep ruby / clean, pronounced intensity - blackberry, cassis cream, cherry, spice box, freshly cracked black pepper, floral (violet, peony) / dry, med+ refreshing acidity, med to low velvety tannin, med to light body, med+ intensity, med+ finish. Closest to Burgundy mouthfeel wise from the La Vizcaina bottles.

13.5% - Hazy, deep ruby / clean, med+ intensity - blackberry, balsamic reduction, riper fruit than the other cru from Vizcaina / dry, med to low acidity, med resolved tannin, med+ body, med+ intensity, med length. Felt warmer and less elegant than the other cru from La Vizcaina, but still a pretty good wine. I'm sure it would be much better with food having in mind a some roasted lamb or roasted game meat.

13.5% - Clear, med to deep garnet / clean, pronounced intensity - mixed red berry fruit, candied dried fruit, white pepper, spice box, toast & smoky, floral bouquet / dry, med+ acidity, med body, med fine grained tannin, med+ intensity, med length. The palate is much more austere than the nose is suggesting. Would benefit from a good decant of a few more years in the cellar. 90(++)

13.5% - Clear, med to deep ruby / clean, pronounced intensity - black cherry, blackberry, spice box, graphite, eucalyptus / dry, med+ refreshing acidity, med fine grained tannin, med body, pronounced intensity, persistent finish with all layers carrying through on the palate.
