Transferred from barrel to stainless steel two days ago. Currently being fined with bentonite. Fresh and pear scented. Good line here. Intensity to the fruit. A touch of pear again. Mid weight but a lot lighter on its feet than one might expect garnacha to be. very elegant with good zip. Lovely. ****

Broader on the nose and a little richer than the Garnacha. Similar on the palate — this is broader, richer and feels more structural rather than fruity. Some will be bottles straight, and some blended for the 5V. ***

Deep and dense ruby to purple. Dark red fruit. Concentrated and with a purity. Very fat in the glass. Good depth of fruit. A good thwack of tannin on the finish too. Good steak wine. **(*)
