This is always a favorite of mine and this bottle was no different. It's a different style of champagne. More focused it seems on spice and herbal style notes. Not so much in the butter or brioche category. Very crisp and clean. I think quite enjoyable.

On the heels of the Clouet 1911 and in comparison this was just ok. It's a bit more the standard champagne flavors with a bit of butter and a bit of toast and a bit of brioche. Somewhat basic and less interesting than the others. Totally fine set of bubbles, but don't know that I would buy them again given how many great wines there are out there.

This was really great and looking back at the price point I'm thinking I should have picked up some more. It's that lean and clean style of champagne that I like. More apple notes. Very crisp. Bottle went quickly so I suspect well enjoyed by all.

I continue to be impressed with these bubbles esp at their price point and given that they are domestic. I don't think of Washington as doing much in the sparkling category, but perhaps that's ill-advised. These are not perhaps at the same level as some of the champagnes we drank earlier, but nor did they feel totally out of place in the line-up. A bit of nutty and toasty. Easy to drink.
