Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Billecart-Salmon Champagne Brut Rosé France, Champagne
chardonnay 40%, pinot noir 30%, pinot meunier 30%.

Lovely golden rose color with good bubbles, persistent bead. Nose light maple, floral, some red fruits.
Palate silky, juicy red fruits.
A lovely champagne, has broad appeal but also serious depth. Wonderful as an aperitif and with appetizers. 93 pts

2015 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
7.5% abv.

Light slate grey with some golden tints. Nose hint of funk, some wax, highly floral. Palate golden fruit, honey, richly layered — deep, yet also light on the tongue. Superbly balanced and wonderful to drink now but clearly has upside. WOTN. 95 pts
2016 Jean Foillard Morgon Côte du Py France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon
Cloudy dark violet. Nose mineral, some dark fruits. Palate juicy, textured dark fruits, some richness with herbal complexity. Enjoyable but still seems young. 91 pts for now

2009 Ridge Lytton Springs USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley
Dark ruby with light separation/browning at the edges. Nose light vanilla, some dark fruits. Palate dark fruits with a burst of acidity; good depth on the palate, hint of tannins on the finish. Drinking well right now but could see it developing more yet. 91 pts

Red - Fortified
N.V. Kirkland Signature Porto 10 Year Old Tawny Portugal, Douro, Porto
Dark ruby with some translucence. Nose a bit hot, some dark fruits. Palate raisiny, orange peel. A bit heavy/syrupy on the PnP but perhaps would lighten up some with more air. 88 pts
