Light yellow/straw. 100% Monemvassia. Aromas of apple and burned rubber, reminiscent of riesling. Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol and medium body. Flavors of green apple, yellow plum, lemon, slightly astringent. Lingering finish.

Medium golden-straw. Wide-ranging nose of honey-melon, magnolia, sweet/baking spices. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol and ditto body. Floral palate with acacia, ripe golden delicious apples, honey, white pepper notes. Balanced and good length with cutting finish.

Medium yellow. Savory aromas, sea breeze, nuts, smoke, burned rubber. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol and medium (+) body. Palate of lemon, baked apple, saltines, almond, honey with slight astringency. Rather fatty texture, viscous and unctuous. Very good length with some bitter notes in lasting finish,

Very unlike what I expected, such is the world of wine.

Medium(-)-medium ruby-purple. Austere bordeaulesque aromas of cherry, black fruit, cedar, cigar box and bay leaves. Dry, medium(-)-high acidity, dry medium tannins, medium alcohol and same body. Palate of cherry, lead pencil, green pepper, herbaceous. Good length with puckering finish.

Medium ruby-purple. Austere aromas of cherry, herbaceous, pencil shavings, leather and licorice. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium(+) ripe tannin, medium alcohol and medium-medium(+) body. Palate comparable to aromas, with black cherry thrown in. Flavor profile flattens and drops off quite quickly resulting in a dry linear finish.
