Nice, bright, light golden yellow.
Intense, complex and fine at nose: mainly sweet notes of vanilla and then toasted wood, wax and acacia flowers.
Great personality at taste, with a nice acidity and minerality well balancing a strong alcohol (14%) and barriques notes.
Still, sensation are detached, not amalgamated.

Ruby red, a bit faded.
Intense and fine nose: candy violets and black cherries. Silica hints.
Dry, with a good acidity and minerality. Full mouth, thanks to a high alcohol and a smooth tannin. Fruit on the background.

Dry, alcoholic and rounded. Good acidity, smooth tannins and mineral. Lacking some fruit at taste.

2014 Librandi Val di Neto Magno Megonio Italy, Calabria, Val di Neto
90 points
Ruby red, with violet rim.
Complex and very fine at nose: Ripe red fruits with alcohol, dried flowers and spicy: Tobacco and bark.
Dry, rounded, with a good acidity and a young, but noble and velvety tannin!!. Great stucture, full fruit at taste, persistent, with a closing on sweet vanilla notes.
Young, but very classy.
