Good nose shows floral, apple and earth. Palate a bit more earth. Better a year or three ago.

Apple and lemon with so much precision and oyster shell brightness and crunchiness. Very long finish. Better today vs one year ago, and certainly further upside from here.

Somewhat surprising, certainly intriguing. All red fruit with medium+ weight, but such impeccable balance and harmony, finishing with a minerally, spicy ( allspice?) character than I really enjoyed.

Lemon, lemon curd, candied lemon zest with an exciting mineral sense so rare in Cali Chardonnay, and an engaging brightness for its age. Holding up so well, but prob even better a few years ago.

Small glass, brief note. From magnum. Black and red cherry aromas with enticing spice. Similarly rich start, then a more firm, abrupt finish that seems almost bitter. Needs more time? Didn’t live up to my (admittedly high) Rhys expectations.
