Nose: The nose is well rounded and well balanced with red apples, quince, spiced pears, honey tones, brioche, biscuits, warm dough, and some yellow flowers. There is excellent depth with the nose showing a mature sense.

Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with crisp, high acidity. The acidity is well integrated and balanced with red apples, quince, honey tones, brioche, yellow flowers, biscuits, and warm dough.

Overall: This is a lovely, mature Bolly grande annee. There is plenty of poise and balance with a touch of honey notes.

Nose: There is a perfumed savoriness to the nose with pure red cherries, raspberries, strawberries, licorice, violets, earth tones, roasted herbs, and tobacco notes. There is good depth with a real expressive quality to it.

Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with crisp, medium+ acidity and fine-grained, medium+ tannins. There is still some youth to the structure but the feel is also gorgeous and balanced with red cherries, raspberries, roasted herbs, earth tones, licorice, and roasted herbs.

Overall: This is pretty as all hell. There is good depth on the nose and palate and a lot of expressive red fruits. This is drinking beautifully right now and has plenty of life left in the tank.

Nose: There is a distinct savory quality to the nose that just drives me nuts that is backed up with cigar wrapper, bell peppers, cedar, herbs, red cherries, worn leather, cigarette ash, earth tones, cassis, and cranberries.

Taste: The feel is medium bodied with medium acidity and well balanced, medium+ tannins. The feel is well balanced and deep with red cherries, cranberries, cassis, bell peppers, tobacco, worn leather, and cedar notes.

Overall: This is wonderful right now. This showed off all sorts of balance and depth with an earthy and savory side.

Overall: This is mature and expressive with a whole lot of depth. The tones are refined and well balanced as this is a real joy to drink.

Overall: This is a lovely, mature St Julien. The nose is pungent but impeccably balanced and deep with a regal sense of being that only a wine of this maturity can bring.

Overall: This was surprising when revealed. It seemed more advanced than I'd expect from this.

Overall: This feels like it is fading somewhat. The alcohol is a little out of balance and the fruit is mellowed out a lot.
