Pale/medium gold. Nose is quite rich with ripe fruit - some pineapple, creamy vanilla oak. Quite broad and rich on the palate, creamy fruit, nice contrasting vibrant acidity, decent length finis. Excellent.

Very deep ruby. A touch closed initially this opened out to reveal ripe black currant fruit, touch of black pastille. Medium/full bodied, soft and velvety, black currant, fresh acidity, balanced and long. Excellent, still youthful, should improve.
