Very pure and precise. Fine tight mousse. Terrific energy. Purity. Made the Taittinger NV served before it feel sweet and fat, bordering on flabby.

2006 Château Léoville Poyferré
From magnum, sequentially decanted into a bottle-sized decanter. Enjoyed this more than last time. Glossy and luscious, all very balanced and well put together. Harmonious. With rib of beef.

2008 Chêne Bleu Heloise
More energetic than the Leoville Poyferre 2006 served before it. Tension and energy, really poised. I continue to like this a lot.
