Excellent. Compared to the Bazin, this is rich and toasty, with apple, dried ginger, yeast and roasted almond notes. Fine bead. Flavors of apple, lemon and almond.

Poured from magnum, this presents a youthful dark color. Aromas of iron, black currants, macerated red berry and red plum, with earthy undertones. Full-bodied with medium tannins and flavors of red fruit, plum, licorice and iron. Lacking the typical iodine notes. Finishes with good length. (R&D)
