Red
2006 Domaine Trapet (Jean et Jean-Louis) Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin Grand Cru

PnP. Feeling tannic and muted at first, this got better with air so I'd recommend a decant right now. Brooding on the nose, with a mix of red to dark fruits, toast. On the palate it has big shoulders for a Pinot, compensated by a fruit that's still quite present. This gained volume with air and is a fine wine.
Red
2006 Emmanuel Rouget Vosne-Romanée France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée

Drank out of a magnum. The freshness of fruit on this wine is striking. The nose is all red fruits and spices, floral. On the palate it's silky, well together and balanced, with fresh fruit notes and long. Remarkable.
Red
1959 Pierre Ponnelle Mazis-Chambertin France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru
Hard to give a rating on such an old wine. Still remarkably lively, balanced, savory and earthy. Felt more together than the Château Palmer 1959 I tasted a week prior. Still holding its age quite well.
White
2013 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Meursault 1er Cru Charmes France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru
Out of magnum. Very tight, all acid and rocks at first. Gained volume and opened up a bit as it warmed up in the glass. This needs more time to soften and reveal itself.
