Pairing made it good, only average otherwise - see tasting stories for pairings - went well with course pairings and Couscous Salad.

Bouquet medium intensity, butter, lemon, grapefruit, pear, pineapple, honeysuckle.

Taste low/med intensity, sweet, pear, peach, apricot, honeysuckle, honey, caramel, vanilla, oak; smooth moderate finish.

Pairing made it average, below average otherwise - see tasting stories for pairings - went OK (not well) with course pairings.

No comparison to Burgundian wines, or decent US Pinot wines. Would not buy!

Bouquet faint intensity, berry, black currant, apple, leather, cinnamon, clove, minor black pepper.

Taste low intensity, light watery body, fruity sweet like cherry soda pop (not in good way), cherry, plum, violet, earth; short not notable finish.

$35/ bottle - did not buy - way overpriced! Many much better Pinots are available.

Flight 3 - Course 3 (1 note)

1. Rack of Lamb [BEST lamb we ever had!] - marinated in traditional spices, pan seared, baked in oven.
2. Potatoes Au Gratin - classic Julia Child recipe.
3. Greek Couscous Salad

Taste high intensity, full bodied, black currant, raisin, bacon, leather, cinnamon, vanilla; smooth moderate finish.

$47/ bottle - over priced - did not buy. Would buy at $30 to $35.
