Yellow straw color; opulent nose, eggy, bready, grilled lemon, lime zest, still quite young, full bodied and broad shouldered, acid is not driving which makes me think this won't get much better but a little more time should add some welcomed complexity.

More of a cloudy reddish core with large brick rim; liqueured nose, kirsch, medicinal, plum and fig, Luden's cough drop; silky texture, full bodied and somewhat alcoholic, intense but there's a measured elegance to it.

Maroon core, some sediment, reddish orange rim; dusty nose, really pretty, earthy mix, leather, pepper, cranberry, sour plum, fig, good core of sour cherry, nice delineation without their sometimes distracting Brett, very balanced and nice.

Darker core with thinner dull rim; the darkest deepest of noses, smoke, aged, fig, balsamic, higher alcohol, still a plush almost Syrah like quality, turns out this is a high percentage of old vine Mourvedre, Amarone-esque, still holding on and full of a lot of pleasure; appreciate this more now that it has calmed down with some age.

Dark core with brown rim; tired nose, spicy, hoisin, prune, plum, good texture, leather, not gone but ready to drink now, probably best a few years ago.

Lots of spice on this expressive nose, warm plums, blue fruit, weighty, good texture, sweet and savory, again recall the spices; tasty and in a good spot.

2017 base, 68% Pinot Noir 29% Chardonnay 3% Pinot Meunier, 30% wood aged reserve, 8g/L dosage; pretty straw green; high toned fresher nose, biscuit, grilled lemon, good combination of luxuriously aged and youthfull fruitiness, driving acid, pleasing flavors, persistent mousse, not your average house style- this is clearly a step up qualitatively.

Darker core with large crimson rim; very nice nose, aged, some brown sugar, hard red fruit, lots of weight and savoriness, fig and plum, structured and the most tannic of the day, very nice but could use a bit more time.

Great mix of sweet and savory, berries, tea, garrigue, nice balance and should age gracefully, fuller compared to many 2017 CdPs I've had.

Semitranslucent reddish violet; more classic nose, open, spice, mulled plum and raspberry, blueberry, nice balance, herby mix on the close; tasty.

Black core with thin purple rim; big, black fruited, bitter chocolate, purple fruit, very dense and concentrated, very structured but also very plush tannins, so young and not expressing 20% of the complexity this bottling can show; yet another CdP that is on the fuller side of the vintage style.

Yellow green color; rich nose, almonds galore, yeasty, cream, good acid, approachable now; good.

Brighter greenish yellow; nutty nose, green apple, pear, golden fruit, almond, taut, very dry and sharp on the palate, lots of phenolics, almost severe with nice fruit.

Cloudy reddish maroon; tea, blueberry, raspberry, floral, tart, very pretty though not light.

Lovely nose, aromatic, melon sweet fruit, waxy, impressive richness with solid acid, mint; really delicious.

Pencil lead, waxy, good weight, steely and clean, great texture, flavors dovetail; I'd like to see this with more time.
