Almost black in colour this wine shows ripe red fruit and sweet oak on the nose. The palate has cassis, white pepper and capsicum characters with great length and subtle tannins. Very nice.

Almost black in colour this delicious Bordeaux blend showed elegant red fruit, espresso, vanilla and elegant earthy characters. The palate is rich, complex and warm. Black fruits and toffee.

Deep yellow in colour this wine shows more savoury, mineral and grass notes with a little citrus on the nose. The palate is very sweet, almost honey. Tropical characters. Glad I only paid £2 for a taste - not worth £70 a bottle!

Very pale in colour this Sherry has a light, fresh nose. The palate is extremely dry, showing some smoke and minerals. Not to my taste.

Medium brown in colour this Sherry shows dried fruit, honey and mixed spice on the nose. The palate shows some sweetness - nuts and biscuity characters.

Winner of dry Sherry over £10.

Deep brown in colour this Sherry showed raisin, caramel, toffee and treacle characters on the nose. The palate shows brown sugar and a little tobacco.
