Quite dark fruited nose - quite a lot of smoky oak. very fresh. Pretty, light - a little insubstantial in fact. Quite short with some firm tannin at the tail end.

Cask sample. Purer, redder fruit, a lot less oak and better for it. Still light and airy, but more depth of fruit here, with a longer and more seamless finish. Shows promise.

Cask sample. Lovely pure, red fruited, understated nose. Lovely fine tannins, fresh, restrained fruit with floral notes. Good length finish. Very promising.

Cask sample. Attractive, pure red fruited nose - strawberries. Creamy vanilla notes. More depth here. Some darker fruit in the mouth, very good depth, relatively generous yet still elegant, lovely acidity carries a persistent finish. Very promising, at or above its usual high standards.

Cask sample. Slightly more serious nose on this one - darker cherry fruit, more intensity if a little closed. Good purity of fruit on the palate, a little oak here too but well done, good length attractive finish. Pansiot's wines seem to be showing well.

Cask sample. Deep, pure fruited (typical Fourrier) nose. Slightly closed. Palate seems a little stretched as well, actually a little too acidic on the finish. Sure it will turn out well though.

Cask sample. Slightly darker fruit than the Cherbaudes, more intensity too, but same purity. Amazing extract, precision and balance here with deep, palate staining fruit and a very long finish. Excellent.
