One of the best Kabinetts I've had. Light, playful, dancing on the palate. Great acidity which balances the modest sweetness. Not quite "green" flavors, but it tastes "alive"

2002 Paul Blanck Riesling Schlossberg
Slight oily, petrol aroma & flavors. Dry, rich, slight oxidized character. Still fresh though. Nice acidity.

Not too much there. Medium sweetness, light, decent acidity.

Aromas reminiscent of a viognier / marsanne blend i recently had. flavors were acidic lemon and a bit of petrol.

Big nose. Viscous, oily, acidic. I'm not much for trocken riesling.

"Oh yeah" - initial reaction at smelling this aged riesling. Smoky, petrolly, Tart (lemon), with no noticable sweetness.

decanted for ~ 1 hour. Initially very closed.

WOTN - Rich golden honey color. Sweet, heavy weight, lasts a long time. Still tastes "fresh" Would not know it was THAT old tasted blind. Very little petrol.

2004 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese
Slight sulfur, slight moldiness on the nose, and eventually on the palate. Lots of frizzante, peach, noticeable sweetness.

2002 Alois Kracher Scheurebe TBA #6 Zwischen den Seen
Very good finish to night. Herbal cough drop nose. Viscous & sweet but nice acidity (although it could have been a bit more). Apricot and orange peel flavors.
