Needed a few minutes to start drinking really well. Not a over the top Shiraz but quite medium bodied. Still has life 👍

Drinking so well at 19🍷 Rancia is a wine with a very long drinking window even in a warm vintage like 2003. Even better on second night.

I wasn’t sure how these would age when I bought these over 12 years ago. Beautiful dark fruit with great depth. Still going strong.

Nice balance in this Grand Selection Chianti. Was best after an hour of air. Medium dark fruit with acidity and long finish. Drank just before the 2011 and this showed the superior 2010 vintage🍷

Very nice Grand Selection Chianti that showed rich dark fruit. This was less complex than the 2010 served just before.

Wow! What a beautiful Sangiovese based wine. Dark rich and so smooth right out of the bottle. After two disappointing 2009’s this was a great bottle to go with smoked leg of lamb and homade pesto pasta🇮🇹🍷

After three hours in a decanter this was drinking so well. Very dark rich red fruit with a long finish. I love this wine and the very special town of Greve❣️🍷

A beautiful Sangeovese from a good but not great vintage. This shows the quality of the grapes and superior wine making. Dark rich fruit with nice acidity and tannins. This could have used two hours in the decanter.

Drinking well now. Nice mix of dark fruit, smooth tannins and tertiary notes peeking out. This is why you lay down $35 wines for 12 years. Was beautiful with 2 pound tomahawk rib steak shared with my son.

Pop and pour. New world of dark fruits and fading luxurious oak. The quality of the 100% Carmenere fruit gives this wine unique profile. In a great spot now!

This really needs 4 hours in the decanter.
At that point it was showing well but reslly needs a few years in the cellar.

This was just beautiful for a 14 year old Barbera. Dark fruit and oh so smooth. I thought this might be passed its prime but was pleasantly surprised how great this was.

Opened at noon and enjoyed at 8 pm on New Years Eve. Was amazing match to Filet on the BBQ. Dark, smooth, rich and oh so good. This will surely improve in complexity over
the next decade+ but very enjoyable now with some air.

Initially some funk so I decanted for an hour. Some sediment so decanting was a good idea. This became a beautiful example of an aged Cabernet. Dark fruit with lots of herbal notes. Give it some air if you still have any and enjoy.

Had to try this as it was #19 on WS top 100 of 2018. Very young but the fruit is soft and pure Sangiovese. Will be better in a year or two.
