This was just beautiful for a 14 year old Barbera. Dark fruit and oh so smooth. I thought this might be passed its prime but was pleasantly surprised how great this was.

Decanted for 2-3 hours and this was just beautiful. Got better with more air. Left about 1/3 of the bottle in the cellar for the next night and it was even better. 93+

Opened at noon and enjoyed at 8 pm on New Years Eve. Was amazing match to Filet on the BBQ. Dark, smooth, rich and oh so good. This will surely improve in complexity over
the next decade+ but very enjoyable now with some air.

Initially some funk so I decanted for an hour. Some sediment so decanting was a good idea. This became a beautiful example of an aged Cabernet. Dark fruit with lots of herbal notes. Give it some air if you still have any and enjoy.

Had to try this as it was #19 on WS top 100 of 2018. Very young but the fruit is soft and pure Sangiovese. Will be better in a year or two.

Decanted for 2 hours. At first lots of oak on the nose but this blew off after decanting. Nice balance of dark fruit and fine tannins.

Nice development from four years ago. Blend of 60% Pinot and 40% Chard. Disgorged 09-2013. I would almost give this 92 it was so impressive for a NV.

A very dry and delicious Blanc de Blancs that drinks similar to a Champagne 2-3 times the $21 I paid. Was great with Oriental inspired meal.

Decanted for an hour but this was best after three. 100% Merlot from Chianti Tuscany. Dark fruit, spices and some tannins on the finish. In the early part of its drinking window.

This was good on the first night but much better on night 2. Dark fruit and a warm lush body with a smooth finish. You have to be in the right mood to drink this. I will go back to my 2007's and 8's and wait on this for a year or two.

A very balanced and a beautiful example of Northern Rhone Syrah. Improved with air(not decanted) and was best after 2-3 hours.

Enjoyed this on its own before the meal. Disgorgement 04-2017. Lots of fresh citrus with nice acidity and a clean finish. Was quite impressed. This could improve with a few years in the cellar.

Opened for 3 hours but not decanted. Beautiful Sangiovese with so much textural depth. This was singing sweet Tuscan music tonight. Great with pasta, Rapini and sausage.

Opened the Magnum and let air for 30 min. This was just outstanding and improved over the next 3 hours. Dark rich fruit with complexity only found in a 20 year old wine.
