This is in a good spot right now. Deep color with some bricking at the edge. Classic with dried rose petals, dried Montgomery cherry and a hint of tar. Just a hint of reduction that required some time to blow off. On the nose just a hint of volatility that added complexity. Excellent palate coverage with good sap to the middle. Bright acidity kept the palate vibrant and stretched out the finish. The tannins were still slightly unresolved on the finish but i liked the balance of the fruit and freshness. Had this with bolognese which was a perfect match to the tannin structure on the finish.

Tobacco and hints of menthol and plum and dark cherry. Undertones of cedar and dark chocolate add depth. The tannins are a bit grippy still with a medium-sized palate to support. The acidity is refreshing which carries the wine to an elegant finish.

Slightly reduced at first. With air, waxy yellow fruits with hints of lemon verbena and Smokey minerals. Vibrant on the palate with flavors of eureka lemon and lime with a chalky middle. The finish is refreshing with a citrus pith sensation.

Slightly reduced. Beautiful color. Reddish with a purple hue. The nose reminds me of an aged oolong tea with notes of plum and black cherry. Dried herbs and a subtle meaty aroma belies the fruit. Nicely balanced in the mouth with excellent tannin to acid balance. Stems really come through on the palate and offer a spicy and savory quality. Give it a little time.

Beautiful nose of crushed berries and dried flowers. Deep color. Excellent sap in the middle palate with a strong finish of tea and Asian spice. Elegant overall with perfect acid to tannin ratios. Should age well with already wonderful harmony.

Very nice extract. Still very young and tight. At first the wine seemed very acid driven but with some time the tannin softened a bit and became more elegant. There is terrific balance with flavors of pear skin and a hint of herbal that kept the wine fresh. Good extract.

Very clean and crisp style. The extended aging en tirage delivered excellent depth of marmite and notes of white chocolate. The balance of this wine is remarkable and precise. Very lithe on the palate. Seems like this is in a good space to drink.

Spiced pear and yellow apple and talcum powder mix with Brazil nuts. A hint of mint or tarragon adds a bit of freshness. Very linear in the mouth with flavors of pear and yellow apple. There is an unctuousness to the middle palate with a nice elegant and expansive mineral finish.

Quince and green apple. Lime flowers and a hint of mint. Notes of crushed rocks are layered in the aromatics. The palate is rich upon entry and almost oily. There is enough tension in the acid and tannins that keeps the wine from being too rich. Very round and fat and a lingering taste of flint. Seems to be richer than other examples of Tonnerre.

Beautiful pale yellow with a hint of green. Lime flowers and stone fruit with notes of crushed rocks. A slight reduction today keeps the aromatics in check. Hints of toasted pecan add intrigue to the nose along with bergamot. The palate is precise with flavors of bergamot and lime. The extract is so compelling and full bodied but the acid keeps the wine completely in balance. The finish is lovely with a saline-like texture and powdery minerals. Pretty complete wine.

Vivid red color. Just a hint of reduction in the nose keeps the wine in the deeper bass notes. Dark berry, pomegranate with notes of flint/crushed rocks and anise and smoky herbs. Entry is very bright and tangy with distinctive citrus and tart cherry and cranberry flavors. The reduction carries onto the palate as well with hints of struck flint. There is a real sap to the front and middle with weightlessness due to the refreshing acid. The tannins are not yet resolved and the wine can go for a few more years for sure.

Lovely nose, double decanted. Berries and black olives interlaced with herbs de Provence. Beautiful texture with not much resolution to the tannin yet (obviously). Very complete wine, though with perfect acidity and a sap at the core that is unreal. Envelops the palate without ever being heavy.

Absolutely brilliant wine. At first notes of buttered nuts and white flowers. Incredibly lithe and focused on the palate. There is a good amount of acidity but seems to be buffered with an extract and a sense of powdered rocks. Superb.

Took about an hour to open up but had a wonderfully complex nose of leather, dried flowers, tobacco with a vibrant and fresh currant nose. High tones of black cherry added a freshness to the overall aroma. The palate was wonderfully rich with lots of secondary flavors and a refreshing acidity that gives a sense of focus. Not a super long finish but seems like it's all in balance.

Could not resist to try upon receipt. At first somewhat reticent, but with air pure crushed quartz and talcum powder come through. Fruits are pear/quince and subtle tangerine oil. The oak is very well integrated with just a touch of green tea and flowers. The palate is electric with superb acidity throughout that seem to saturate the palate conveying the strong mineral sensation, serious extract. Nutmeg complexes the flavors further. Finishes with powdery minerals and a suggestion of quinine. Super potential with this acid profile.

Quince and dried herbs and dried flowers. Subtle oyster shell notes and smoky minerals complex. With air, notes of quinine come out. Palate is super rich with an oily texture that is absolutely stunning. The quinine and pear skin/quince really stain the middle palate and finishes with a saline, piquant sensation. Really good right now.

In a very good drinking window right now. Decanted, but I don't think that it is necessary. Rich and broad entry with plum, currants, cedar and mocha are complexed with secondary notes of hoisin. Tannins are balanced with the richness of the wine. Enjoyed with a standing rib roast.

In a very good zone right now. Decanted but not sure that it needed it. Remarkably fruit driven with notes of plum and plethora of red and black fruits. Underneath the fruit are layers of underbrush, smoked meats, gravel and hoisin sauce that add a level of depth. While powerful and palate staining, seems to retain a rather lithe feel. Drink up!

Pale yellow with a green hue. Attractive level of reduction by way of roasted corn. Quince nose with Jonagold and an undertone of meyer lemon and gravel and rocks. The entry is round and fat with good width across the palate and then seems to fan out with dried flowers, citrus peel and fresh butter. Quince on the finish give the wine some closure and length.
