Opened, poured half into a decanter, and the balance saved in a 375ml bottle and tasted over the following day.

Ruby color. Nose offers fresh red berries, sour cherry and hint of fresh herbs.
Good sour cherry and strawberry on the intro; light, fresh and with lively acidity. continues that fresh and vibrant red fruited notes as it opens up with more exposure to air.

Second day, the wine took on a darker fruited note with more earth and spice elements. The cherry went from a bright sour cherry to a sweeter black cherry profile, with the tannins a bit more prevalent.

I enjoyed this more when it was a freshly opened bottle of wine and the score is based on that tasting.
