Very impressive; cassis & cherries on the nose & palette, lingering leather, chocolate and a little tobaco & oak. Lightly spiced and oh so smooth. Truly a work of art; best bottle of wine I've had in awhile.Well paired with our homemade Bolognese Sauce.

Very smooth, a bit short on the finish. I was hoping it would stand up better with the steaks. Next time I will pair it with some cheese.

A little spicy, dominated at first by a peppery taste, with a marvelous blackberry finish; was a perfect match for a robust spaghetti Bolognese.

The colour is what you should see in the most perfectly done creme brule. The aroma reminiscent of frozen taffy on snow in March. And the taste is so sweet & smooth; like caramel, freshly roasted pecans & just the right amount of fruit & spice. We started the bottle off wtih Stilton, Oka, Chaume & Roue cheese and ended with some exquisite Belgium dark chocolate. Just add a roaring fire to this equation and you are in heaven. For a tawny; it doesn't get much better than this.

Outstanding! I served it with grilled lamb chops and it was delicious. Oak is obvious, but so well balanced just enough red-fruit, spice and a nice long finish.

Paired this with a hot Indian (curry) meal and the combination was fabulous. Even my husband that does not care much for a Gewurztraminer loved it. In the past, I had always wanted to eat my Indian food with a good beer; but I think I've been converted.

Wow! This bottle far exceeded expectations. Brought it to a potluck dinner, had a few people do a blind tasting; they loved it. Boy, were they surprised when they found out it was from Ontario. I'm sorry I didn't order a whole case when I had the chance.
