11/14/19, 4:55 PM - I trust the Cyclist completely. And I'm grateful for his comments here as I have never had a bottle from this winery. Thanks, Jeff!
1/14/16, 12:16 AM - Dang! I really hope I don't run into any premox. I'm eager to give this a spin but I am starting to have my questions. Ugh.
3/1/15, 10:22 PM - Pretty sure Stony Hill doesn't use any new oak. Old, neutral only, for texture, not flavor.
3/2/15, 10:03 AM - We might be saying the same thing, but I was just struck that oak even got mentioned. When it comes to Stony Hill, oak rarely enters the conversation. That is all.
11/25/14, 9:56 AM - The Hirsch is not a RR pinot. All its fruit comes from the Hirsch vineyard on the True (far west) Sonoma Coast, many miles from the RR AVA.
9/14/13, 9:56 PM - Several websites indicate that this is 70% tannat, 20% cab franc, and 10% cab sauvignon. I think the tannins a bit more prevalent than "modest" might indicate.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
