Bright fruit on the nose and in the mouth. Aromas of red and black cherry, graphite, wet slate. Medium bodied and smooth, with a sleek, polished finish. Great acid.

My experience is a combo of others. My cork busted but I got it out without too much mess. The wine needs to be decanted. An hour in and it's starting to flower. Getting richer, deeper, more flavorful, longer finish. All that being said, I don't think it's the most complex red I've had in a while. I like it a lot but not sure it's an A wine. Solid B+/A-. Considering I got this on WTSO at $30, I think it's overpriced. A steal at $20-25 but overpriced at $30. Can't imagine how disappointed the people who paid way more might be. Still, glad I have two more bottles. Good match for tonight's grilled ribeyes.
