Drinking great already. Fruit forward with spice mid palate. Crowd favorites last night.

The wine looks purple colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like bell pepper, oak and cherry. It tastes like burnt and coffee. The body is full. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Part of Ridge tasting. Deep dark fruit floral notes, rich spicy front palate and pronounced tannin's. Enjoyed on the Ridge patio overlooking those century old vines. Doesn't get much better then that! Too early to provide any sort of rating.

Very firm tannins and took 30 minutes in the decanter to open. Good wine, poor QPR.

Opened quick, smoothed from tasting a year ago and less complex. Still very solid but this one is in its gradual decline.

Really enjoyed. Opened quick, agreed with other taster notes on the blackberry, soft textures with just a little oak in the finish. Would buy again.

Bottle was better than then 07, not as good as the 06. Lively tannins, some spice, good structure and more oak the other years. Not the best bang for the buck.

This was an off bottle or on a sharp decline. Either way, this bottle does not match my previous notes and will not be scoring.

Great floral nose, rich with pronounced pear and pineapple. Less oak and butter then the last time I tried this wine (2010 vintage). Still one of my favorite chards.

Pronounced tannins, almost perfection through mid-palate until met by just a bit too much heat and oak. Great bottle, glad I have one more!

Slight funk open first pour that dissipated after about 10 minutes. A big hit of cherry, raspberry, strawberry in the front. MREINITZ was spot on with the cola in the middle, through the finish.

Incredible nose of dark fruits. Popped and poured and initial glass was very tight and opened in about 20 minutes. Balanced, with dark fruit in the front, middle and a silky very slight oak finish. Great stuff!

1.5L offering. Pop and poured and tasted great out of the bottle. Solid tannins, integrated with a lingering lightly oaked finish.

Half the bottle was decanted and instead of improving, the tannins dropped out and this wine took a step back. One more bottle left with no plans of decanting next time.

Very decent for the price. Didn't get much butter as noted by other tasters. Floral & clean. Would be a good summer wine.

High alcohol with a over powering hit of twang from the whiskey barrel. This should settle and be better in 4-6 months.

Hands down one of the best beers ever tasted. Different/cool 150th anniversary bottle.

Rich, malty, slight nutty and dark aromas.
