Only took about 30 minutes to open. Still a young wine. Plenty of black, blue and red fruits. Very smooth. Nice elements of cassis and black currant as well.

A very interesting wine. This took nearly 90 minutes to fully come around. Traditional Grenache elements up front, but then interesting sour and tangy black cherry elements started to dominate at mid palate. Little Oak. Long finish. Not sure it is worth the price of admission, but still worth tasting this unusual grape.

4/21/18, 7:53 AM - To: Claw Dee Puss,
I found the wine to have at least another 7 years of quality drinking and I probably tried it at the front end of its drinking window. I was not familiar with the wine or grape before having it. A Grenache flavor profile struck me right away and I guess I was not surprised afterwards when I found out the grape is hybrid of (a) grape I am not familiar with and (b) Grenache. If I had a bottle in my cellar, I'd probably give it 2 or 3 more years (minimum) before trying it again.

Not sure I am a fan. The price point does not make sense but it is ceraintly a drinkable 100% cab.
