Oddly corked.... unmistakably musty on the nose, but still some complexity and interesting flavors underneath, but difficult to enjoy

This is still great. Plenty of fruit, but a bit looser than the last bottle. Enjoyable!

This is wonderful - have had these bottles for exactly 9 years (to the day) and it could easily pass for an old world CdP. In a very good spot!

A nice surprise for a basic $32 Bourgogne I bought 10 years ago. Fruit still there, good structure, balance and finish. Enjoyable and glad I still had this!

This has held up very well since I bought it over 10 years ago. Outstanding value. It is quite full-bodied, with dark fruits and a long finish. A bit more alcohol than I prefer, but is still showing very well.

Cork was moldy on the outside. Used the Durand to remove it. Wine is well developed, full bodied and complex yet refined with lots of dark fruit and spicy overtones. Long finish. Surprisingly nice and in a very good place.

Really in a good spot - smoother and more integrated than when I tried it 6 years ago. The tannins have receded but the structure is still there, plenty of fruit, more open and approachable now. Complex, long finish. This is in its prime and should be for some time!

Enjoyed one of these alongside the 09. While both were excellent, this was the WOTN. Just super well integrated, smooth and at a perfect place.

Really great ... has gotten to an excellent spot. The carbonated spritzer effect was highly present upon opening and mostly faded after 10 minutes or so. An enjoyable wine!

Corked. Unfortunate because the wine had some complexity and finesse but hard to get past the cork taint.

Third notes and largely consistent with prior 2 bottles. Complex and interesting wine that has consistently outperformed expectations. Great complexity although fruit is a bit darker and more muted; this is offset by a more pronounced mouthfeel and a longer finish.

Wonderful but will be better and more accessible with a few more years of age. Complex and dark on the nose, blackberries and dark fruits, some spice. Earthy and rich on the palate, with a complex mouthfeel. Still quite tannic. Developed nicely in the glass.

A really big wine. Very complex on the nose and palate. Nose of dark fruits, some alcohol (~15%) comes through. Super sophisticated though. On the palate, many layers, blackberries, tobacco, vanilla. Jammy consistency. A very long finish. Really a phenomenal wine.

Still very good. Used AHSO to open; although cork was still in good shape. Merdium ruby color, amber bricking. Quite a bit of sediment in the bottle. Very smooth, some fruit still there and quite supple mouthfeel although beginning to fade. Cassis, leather, tobacco. Delicate for a cab but quite nice overall and wonderful for a 31 year old bottle.

Wonderful. Rich garnet color with very slight amber edge. Beautiful nose of dark fruits. Lots of fruit - cassis, blackberries. Not over the top but really together. Expected the alcohol to be more of an issue at 15% but was really in the background. Glad I have a few more of these!

Full-bodied cab, has gained complexity. Deep ruby color, nose of cassis and blueberries. Lots of fruit, well integrated, some spice, layered complexity mid-palate. Drinks very well with nice finish. Really paired well with a flat iron steak.

Medium-bodied, tightly wound in the first couple sips but opened up quickly and stayed there. Dark ruby color. Nose of dark fruits. Cherries, vanilla, spice on the palate, moderate complexity. In contrast to other tasting notes, this had a 30-40 second finish. Hence the higher rating. Quite enjoyable; glad I have a couple more of these.

Deep purple in color, nose of dark fruits. Immediately presents itself with complexity and finesse on the palate, with a muscular structure underneath. Long finish. Served with a chimichurri skirt steak and felt like we were in South America.
