Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. Performed similarly to last tasting a year ago. Outstanding Sancerre.

Popped, poured, consumed over next 60 minutes. Quite evident but very pretty French Oak. Still, the quality of the vineyard shines through.

Popped, poured, consumed over next 60 minutes. Chablisienne really nailed the 2014 vintage and this has evolved and integrated quite nicely!

Popped, poured, consumed part of the bottle over the next hour. Lots of promise, fine for drinking now, but I think this is going to improve and there is more to come with further aging. Second night: This has filled out, integrated, and more nuance has come forward. Good the first night, even better tonight. Benefits from air.

Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. Singing right from the pop. Such a great balance of apple/pear fruit, citrus, chalky, seashell minerality and a subtle sprinkling of pretty French Oak spice with wonderful intensity and a lingering finish.

Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. This seems fully developed and tertiary to me. Excellent balance, integration, amplitude, character, and complexity. Thus is the answer to anyone who thinks Sancerre doesn't improve with age. It certainly does!

Popped, breathed in bottle 7 hours, consumed over next two. Started out nice enough, but continually added depth and nuance. I think this is at a mid-point in its evolution and likely has decades to go. There are a lot of good things going on here with great balance, elegance and complexity, but there is still room for it to develop more tertiary notes, integrate more completely and weave together. This certainly has the material to go the distance. No harm in drinking one now if you have a few, but give it plenty of air. Absolutely no hurry. 94+

Popped, poured, consumed over three evenings. A lot of good things going on here, but it just doesn't feel balanced to me. The alcohol is a little too prominent and the fruit seems over ripe. Tastes a bit like Port. I didn't taste any Brett.

Popped, breathed in bottle 1 hour, consumed over next two. Tannin is nicely resolved, a tiny bit of the fruit has receded and tobacco notes have moved forward the same tiny bit. Really nice Napa Cab made in an older, more classic style.

Popped, poured, consumed over next few evenings. The key here is to drink this cold. Refrigerator temperature, not cellar.

Popped, poured, consumed over next 60 minutes. This suffered from following a nicely aged grand cru Chablis. Seemed well made but a little simple, dominated by a vein of quinine.

Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. A little spritzy at first, but quickly settled and performed well. Complex, well balanced, mixed citrus, stony, salty minerality, intensity without weight, mouthwatering finish.

Popped, poured, consumed over next two hours. Started out a little flat and surprisingly flabby, but still delicious. With air, refreshing acidity emerged and it woke up, came into balance and revealed its true character.

Popped, decanted for four hours before consuming over next two. Needed all of that air and continued to develop, add flesh, and reveal nuance after pouring. This was paired with smoked rib-eye and I think the pairing helped the wine’s performance. The wine still has a fair amount of powdery tannin and I also believe this has the fruit and structure to continue to develop for years and years. This was elegant, well balanced, complex and fascinating.
