Pleasant nuttiness. medium acidity. Not as dry and fewer yeasty notes than expected, bubbles could be finer too.

Light butter and medium oak. A little vanilla as it warms. Nicely balanced - pairs well with food, especially roasted chicken dishes in the fall.

Dry, with baked apple and cherry. Nice fruit, good acidity, delicious as ever.

    So a 79 is average to good. That is exactly what I think of the 2014 vintage, which is not as good as previous years from Arborbrook.

Sour apple and melon. Medium dry, with a little residual sweetness and good acidity. Nice.

    12/17/16, 9:11 PM - I have an academic tendency against A's for everyone :) Seriously though, I try to go off the suggested scale (http://support.cellartracker.com/article/49-tasting-notes-and-ratings)- in this case the wine was decent, but not great, so I went for an 80
