I didn't realize I still had a 2010 sitting around but this is delicious and a pleasant surprise. Nicely developed secondary characteristics, deep dark cherry on the nose and palate. Very nice.

Dan produces another great wine. Automatic order every vintage. California sunshine made in an old world style.

Decanted ~2 hours. This was ina great spot. Plenty of fruit showing, but entering a really nice stage with some secondary characteristics.

Only one glass of this, but really nice sauv blanc and a rebuy. Maybe a hair more grassy than i typically prefer, but bright fruit, green apple and citrus fruit.

This is so good. I’m sure it will improve but man this is delicious. I don’t score wines but if I did this would be 92/93 points.

In a great spot.....not sure who put the end of the timeline at 2018, but this is in a great spot. everything i like about the st joe in a more approachable style. fantastic value for the $20 i originally paid and hopefully it continues to remain reasonably priced.

qpr is outstanding.....glad to have a few more of these in the cellar and it's a perfect example of a wine that can be aged vintage to vintage.

this was really light in color, high toned and lots of cranberries on the nose. light to medium bodied and decent finish. i wouldn't call this hot, but i did notice the alcohol a touch.

I can honestly drink Dan's wines all day. This was very pretty in the glass and exciting on the palate with nice citrus flavors, good acidity and mouthfeel overall.

Still tight and tannic upon opening and not very expressive. Got back to the 2nd half of the bottle on day three and this is great. Beautiful red fruit and everything I want in a baby Barolo. Won't touch my last bottle for another year at minimum, probably 2.

liked this wine quite a bit, as i do with most everything dan produces. i probably prefer the 15 a hair more as this had a heavy grapefruit component to me.
