Year 2
Dark garnett core with a dark ruby rim. Very youthful.
Nose: Very hot at first with alcohol creeping in. Black cherry, blackberry. Red fruit as well: raspberry. Timid green notes. A little bit of minerality: graphite and its dusty. Dill for oak notes.
Palate: High acid. Flavors of ripe blackberry, lots of ripe plum, mulberry, a hint green pepper. It has a sour mid palate and finishes with a touch of vanilla. The tannins are high both from fruit and oak. The alcohol is high, and it spikes right now. A little unbalaced. I expect for it to come together as it ages.

Ripe black currants and black cherry; milk chocolate, leather and a violets on the nose. High acid, tannins are still high but tamed at this point. Ripe black fruit on the palate, dark chocolate on the mid palate. The alcohol is high and it is spiking up at this point. It has a long tart cherry finish. The wine is very nice but it is still incredibly young. Would like to drink this in another 10 years.

Very ripe, fruit holding up really well. Both red and black fruit on the nose, as well as strong sense of place, wild mushrooms, earthy. almost muddy. High acid, ripe raspberry, mushroom and cured meat on the palate. Tannins were soft and sweet; alcohol spiked a bit, the wine seems a little hotter that i would have liked but excellent altogether

A lot of minerality come through on the nose, granite, hard rock and some notes pf tobacco.High acid, moderate tannins, favors of ripe red fruit. The mid palate has a hint of sweetness that is beautifully balanced by the high acid. The wine finishes long with gorgeous notes of black pepper. Good wine.

Dark ruby core with a magenta rim. Nose shows ripe strawberry and raspberry, menthol notes, green olives, vanilla and tobacco. Medium plus acidity, medium tannins. The palate show a lot of strawberries, with a creamy mid palate. It reminded me of strawberries and whipped cream. The hint of sweetness is very well balanced by the acidty. It has a delicious cinnamon finish, just long enough. Alcohol very well balanced. Not the most complex wine, but delicious.

First one of a 12 year personal project. I'm going to taste 12 bottles throughout 12 years, always around christmas and notice the difference to try to understand better how wine develops. Im going to taste all bottles under the same conditions, no decanting.

Sight: Dark garnett core with a dark magenta rim
Nose: Ripe blackberry, cassis, plum as well. Some discreet green notes: green pepper, eucalyptus. Light notes of dark chocolate as well as graphite. The alcohol seems a bit high on the nose with that nail polisher aroma coming through.
Palate: High acidity, medium + tannins. Flavors of blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate, green and black pepper. The mid palate is very acidic but it finishes long and spicy, The alcohol is very well integrated and does not spike at all. The wine is tasting great right now. I'm curious to see how the acidity will develop, surprised that the tannins are at a considerable lower level than than the acidity at this point.

Dark garnet core with a dark ruby rim. Ripe black cherry, cassis, plum, black olives, menthol and damp straw on the nose. High acid, medium tannins, flavors of sour cherry and blackberry. it finishes tart and somewhat short. Alcohol is very balanced. Pretty good wine, the nose is very complex, the palate, however is a bit one dimensional without a wide array of flavors.

Very youthful, still very dark in color. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, leather and pencil shavings. After one hour, menthol notes started to appear. High acid, tannins were high but rond and palatable, could feel the sweet taste of american oak on the palate in a very nice way. Long finish. This wine will still get better but will provide a lot of fun now.

Flawed in my opinion. Very oxidized. Still noticeable red fruit left but no tannins. No other aromas except for that vinegar-like smell. Extremely acidic on the palate with no other structural component. Too bad.

Nose of ripe Peach and grapefruit backed by a sea salt-like minerality. Very intense flavors of nectarine and citrus, high acid and a nice minerality on the palate. It has a slight spicy mid palate. Medium alcohol, and a delicious long sour finish. It seems like a very similar albarino to the classic rias baixas just with a much higher intensity of fruit, but not high in alcohol at all. very exciting wine

This reminds you why you fell in love with wine. Ripe black and red cherry, hay, mushrooms and animal on the nose. Ripe red and black fruit on the palate, very sour on the first attack, it transitions to a sweet mid palate of cinammon and clove due to the well integrated oak. It finishes very spicy ans vibrant with black pepper, mushrooms and all those secondary flavors typical of a good burgundy. Could feel the flavors for minutes on my palate. Deep color, very much alive, it might get better, but why wait? This was almos perfect.

Dark garnett core and a brick rim. Ripe blackberry, and blueberry chocolate, tobacco, eucalyptus, green pepper and an ashy minerality on the nose. The palate starts with a sweet chocolaty atack but it becomes dry on the mid palate and it finishes with a long spicy flavor resembling green peppers. high acidity and tannins with alcohol perfectly integrated. This wine will certainly get better in 5 years or so when the tannins and acid mellow out a bit. Extremely complex. I did not decant it and the wine would have benefited from it, had I done so.

This was phenomenal. Blackberry, wet hay, black truffles, leather, pencil shavings and after 30 minutes, a lot of eucalyptus on the nose. Soft silky tannins, blackberry, cinnamon and eath on the palate. High acid that is still holding there. A long delicious cinnamon finish. I don't know that this wine is going to get better but I feel it will hold for another 5 years, but it is gorgeous right now. Almost no sediments.

Garnett core with a dark ruby rim. Unripe blackberry, green pepper, tobacco and dry leaves on the nose. Crushed rocks give a sense of minerality also on the nose. Medium plus acid, blackberry, sour cherry and tobacco on the palate. High tannins, well integrated alcohol and a hint of vanilla on the finish. This wine definitely needs food, the tannins are pretty aggressive. Very well balanced and traditional on its style very old world. No sweet fruit here, very rustic

Ripe red and black fruit, some green pepper and a dusty element on the nose. The palate shows high alcohol, tannins and acidity. Same flavor profile suggested by the nose. Th wine is delicious but the alcohol is unfortunately too much right now, I suspect it would get much better with a 2 hours decant. This wine shows tons of potential but it's way too early to drink it right now, hold it for at least another 5 years....or do some serious decanting if you can't wait!!

This was nice, honey, ripe lemon and peach, and a pronounced minerality on the nose, Developed nutty aromas and some baking spices suggesting oak usage. The palate starts on the sweet side and it finishes somewhat bitter, providing a really nice contrast. Alcohol is balanced as is the oak. Flavors are ripe peach, lemon, nuts and honey. Nice long length. The wine is developed and I don't think it will improve much.

This was phenomenal. Very weird in the first half hour. It seemed disjointed, acidic, with nothing else, but not oxidized, something I really hadn't tasted before. It started coming together after half hour. Beautifully aromas of dried plum, underripe blackberry, leather, wet asphalt (after the rain), pencil shavings and jalapeno. Same enormous complexity on the palate with a high acid, gripping still active but not aggressive tannins and a long pleasant sourish length. This was a really amazing experience. Is it gonna get better? Who am I to say? IF you have a bottle drink up now because it's pretty damn good as it is!!!!

Deep golden color. Nose shows oxidized aroma: hazelnut, honey and hard rock. Fruit is gone, not floral either. Medium acidity, honey and nuts on the palate, slight citrus as well, medium alcohol and long length. This wine is pretty oxidized, judging by the other review of the community, it's probably a bad bottle.

Intense aromas of ripe red fruit: red cherry, raspberry, Also plum and blueberry. The condition of the fruit seems a little candy-; I wouldn't be surprised if this wine has received partial carbonic maceration treatment. Some vanilla and baking spices. I did not detect any mineral or green notes on the nose. Medium acid, medium tannin, flavor profile confirms the nose with ripe fruit on the initial attacks, flavor turns a little tart on the mid palate and it has a somewhat neutral finish. Simple, fruity wine, not bad, the wine is in balance but it lacks complexity.

Complex wine full of delicious contrasts. This wine is not ready yet to be drunk and it will evolve beautifully for at least another 10 years
