Decent on the nose and some minerals and structure at the front end.But otherwise this bottle had lost its fruit and structure with very little on the mid palate. Somewhat disappointing.

This is is an excellent place. I actually preferred it on day 2 when the remaining tannins seemed to have integrated better.

Perfect on the nose. Well integrated with raspberry and cranberry fruits. Maybe slightly lacking in length but most enjoyable. I wouldn’t wait to drink up

Truly excellent. Balanced with great length and ripe flavours.

Still too young in my view. Full bodied vanilla and
forward fruit, very tasty, but tannins not yet fully integrated. I'd give this at least another couple of years.

Still doing well on the nose with some funk. Tannins well integrated and showing fruit and acidity.

The last tasting note from 2013 was spot on. Exactly the same in 2016. Did not know what to expect but surprisingly good.

Enticing aroma. Fruit forward and intense. Modern. Medium length finish. Tannins well integrated. Juicy. Appealing. Quaffable. Lacks some complexity. (From my friend Tom).

On opening had a really earthy smell to it. Crystalline golden colour. Gave way to a honeysuckle and lavender sweetness. Real purity and long on the palate. A super wine.

Restrained nose gives way to rounded and pure mid palate with pineapple and banana that goes on and on. Some sweetness. Typical white Rhone and very happy with this example.

This is a delicious wine. Pure and mineral like, well balanced. A winner.

Drank this after 2 hours decanting. Not sure whether it was the time in the bottle or drinking it with food, but it underwhelmed initially, and then became balanced, intense, pure, pencil led classic Bordeaux. Some fruit in there but struggling to come through. Overall, very lovely.

This was drinking beautifully. All the big tannins have disappeared and the wine has evolved into a firm but gentle cab sav with lovely underlying fruit.

Light to mid weight. Tannins have settled down. Earthy tones. Smooth with a touch of spice.

A rounded fruity wine with citrus and pineapple and underlying minerality. I rather like this.

Deep red. Berry fruits and licorice with some back end spice. Tannins pretty well integrated. Just lacks a bit of complexity but otherwise excellent.

Cedar wood, fruit, barn yard but really well balanced, although lacking much length. Great QPR. A super wine.

Dark ruby red. Strong blackcurrant fruit with a wave of tannins but giving way to some lovely length and earth. I came back to this a year earlier than I was planning and it's drinking pretty well (we ate with a BBQ) but will benefit from more time in the bottle.

Sweaty leather, chocolate, cassis, blackberry notes. Drinking beautifully but plenty of years to go.

Mid-weight and Rhone like. Nice nose and length but a bit thin and I did not find this as smooth as some of the previous entries suggest. It may just need a bit more time in the bottle.

I have now hada few bottles of this. The last one was a bit astringent, but the bottle opened this weekend was drinking beatufully. Velvety, fragrant and delicious fruits. .

Good fruit on the nose and throughout. Cedar and spice up front moving to liquorice with long balanced length. Well integrated tannins. Drinking beautifully right now. Not as earthy as some other bottles I have had. Excellent.

Lots of potential, with lovely underlying fruit, but 2 years away. Way too much acidity right now. I'll come back to this in 12 months.

Nice deep colour, and well balanced, but lacking a little something. Good but not fantastic. Not quite sure whether it needs a couple more years or is past it.

Very smooth indeed. Lovely fruit on the mid palate, but not overwhelming as some Ozzie Cabernets can be. 91.

Lovely bouquet on opening and earthy tones. On drinking some tannins present and complexity of tobacco and leather and spice in mid palate that promises well for the future. Still too early in my view.
