I likes this wine. A bit a single note. Decent fruit but not overly complex. We visited there around 2015 and I got a three pack. This is the first of those wines. I will drink them up. Good but not memorable.

This is in the perfect place for me. Red raspberry, cherry and strawberry with a tight knit mouthfeel.

This was one of the best Schraders I have ever had. It had a unique black fruit profile that I could quite get my arms around but I kept reaching fo the glass for more. still young but man I could drink this any time.

I found this a bit more feminine in style than I remember from this Pritchard Hill site. Red cherry fruit. someone single toned in its profile. Like it but didn't love it for the price.

Tannins were well integrated. Got better after an hour in decanter. Earthy tones and dark red cherry fruit with a touch of earth. Yummy. May not get better with time but damn good now.

This was my first experience with this wine and I thought it was a great bottle. Extremely well integrated and multi-layered yellow fruit with a distinct sense of terroir.

This was a bit too new world style for me. It is a bit heavy handed in alcohol and black fruit profile. I have a few left and plan to drink them up.

Black raspberry fruit dominated the palate. If you like big Cali pinot bombs, this will be your thing. It was fun to drink but I would call it more muscular than finessed. It may have more time in the bottle but why wait. Not sure if it will improve.

I coravined this wine for a few days and it was still pretty tight and structured. Then, opened the rest at a BBQ and it began to open up. Last few glasses were the day after and it was singing. The last glass I would rate a 96 with well integrated black and blue fruits. Note to self. Decant this for multiple hours next time.

I thought this wine was in a really good place. Fruit was big, which one expect but not overly cloying. The baby fat has come off. Drink the rest over next few years, Pared great with smoked short ribs.

I really ike this wine. It has lost some of it's baby fat and the Cayuse typical funk was gone. The wine exhibit great acidity and minerality. Had a great red fruit profile and still could go another 10 years.

This wine is in a great place. Nice red fruit, silky tannins and softish mouthfeel. It was popped and poured but opened up in the glass after an hour. I think a short decant would have been smart. Unfortunately my last bottle but would seek it out to backfill my cellear.

Enough of the Montrose already. This wine is singing and brought me back to great plum and black cherry fruit which my palate needed after 11 vintages of Montrose. Great call on Ira's part!!! Winner winner chicken dinner.

Tight as a drum but started to open up after a few hours. Time will tell if this will rival the 2009. Fruit is there but too much structure for now. Maybe time will mellow it out.

Second worse wine of the night. Very astringent. Overwhelming soy/saline quality. Thought I was drinking from the sea. Bleh.

I am hoping this was just a bad bottle. It was sucky and disjointed. Super astringent. Poured down the drain. Need a mouth rinse to get it out of my thoughts. Yuck! Worst wine of the night. It may be my lowest scored wine of the year. 70 points

Drinking very young. Barnyardy nose blew off after a while. While mine was gone quickly, others kept it around and it faded quickly over course of night. Dark red cherry in classic BDX style.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I popped one of these puppies on the day I arrived. Couldn't keep my paws off and I wasn't disappointed. Great red and black cherry fruit with nice complexity and a touch of vanilla in the mid-palate. Awesome effort and will be a long-term ager.

Gorgeous wine. Great tropical nose with mostly lemon curd, lemon and marmalade. Some buttery profile in mid palate but not in the way. Not too much oak. An elegant glass of chard.
