To me this is really excellent, great value as you are getting a bottle that compares favorably to some excellent Napa cabs at a fraction of the cost.

7/15/23, 8:42 AM - I rarely decant my wine as I love to follow the evolution over the time I drink a bottle. 30 to 60 minutes decant would not hurt but the wine tasted great out of the bottle.

Fantastic Napa cab, drank it over 2 hours and it kept getting bigger.

11/23/22, 8:28 PM - I did not decant this one, it is always a debate between my wife and I as she prefers to not decant and I would decant that bottle for at least 3 hours.

This was simply outstanding. I have had many Schrader wines, but for the first time I decanted this one for 4 hours and this made a profound difference. Unbelievable experience.

12/8/21, 8:46 PM - Key in long decanting in my opinion is to keep the decanter in a place where the wine will stay at the right temperature. For me it is anywhere between 55 and 58. I usually decant my wines in a Simple Riedel Cabernet decanter and then use either the Riedel Amadeo or Black Mamba decanters to actually serve the wine as it adds a nice touch.
